The Caroms | Windsor Family Session

I first met Jen (mama Carom) back in high school, at good old Sandwich Secondary School. When she requested a family session, I was so happy to do it! It was lovely to see the awesome, wife and mother she has become, and get to know the kids and Don (daddy Carom) at the shoot and the viewing a few days later.

Carom Family, thank you so much for choosing us, and trusting us with your first family session! You are truly a beautiful family inside and out. We so enjoyed our time together, and hope to see you again sometime soon. Enjoy your summer!

Dana & Dani | Windsor Family Session

Dana and Dani were so great to photograph. I think it helped that mom and auntie are photographers, because this child knows how to rock the camera! We had fun walking through the park together, and spent most of our time laughing at Dani’s hilarious impersonations of people she knows – this kid is a comedian!

Dana, you are a great mom, Dani is so blessed to have you! Thank you so much for choosing us to capture your special Mom & Me photos. We hope these pictures will hold a special place in your house and home for years to come. Come see us again! xo

Endrit + Blerina | Shopping Day Engagement

Endrit and Blerina met during their first year of high school and were good friends throughout. It wasn’t until the last year of high school, that they realized they had something special. They’ve now been together for 10 years, which is an awesome testament of their love.

The two enjoy food and wine, music, traveling and their cat “Muffin” (best name ever). Italy has always been one of their dream destinations, and they can’t wait to finally go for their honeymoon this fall. Let me just take a moment to mention how completely jealous I am about this! Someone please take me to Italy, so I can eat everything!

Endrit and Blerina, it was great to finally meet you, and not just correspond via email! You make a great couple, and are both so kind. Your love for each other is beautiful and we felt really honoured that you chose us to capture it. All the best with the rest of your plans, and we’ll see you for your wedding very soon!

The Carters | John R Park Homestead Family Session

We are so blessed to call this gorgeous family ours. Melissa is Josh’s sister, she married Todd and together they have adorable children. Since this was taken, they announced a new bundle of joy is on the way! We cannot wait to meet our newest family member and add him/her to the next family photos!

*Disclaimer: You may notice these were taken in the summer time, so I apologize to all that have been anxiously waiting to see them! Our new goal for 2013 is, our own family photos won’t come last (because the work never ends, and they will be waiting forever otherwise, lol). We love you all so much! xoxo

Spring Wardrobe Inspiration

We have some fantastic shoots coming up this spring, so we thought we’d help you out with some spring wardrobe inspiration!

For spring 2013, layering is key. You never know if it’ll be raining, hot or cold – so be prepared. Another great thing about layering your clothes is that you can simply remove a layer, add an accessory and boo-ya, you’re rockin’ out a brand new look on the same photo session!

There are a few trending items you may notice displayed here. For women the latest trends include bib necklaces, sheer and denim tops and gold ascents. For men it’s all about the accessories; skinny ties, unique watches, complimenting belts and glasses. And to my guys out there, I didn’t add much colour to your inspiration board, but don’t be afraid to add some in to reflect your personality. A pop of colour on a watch, belt or even a cool pair of shorts/pants looks really awesome!
