Jason + Kristen | LaSalle Engagement

Jason & Kristen are fun-loving, happy people. They both have admitted to being addicted to chocolate chip cookies, enjoy the great outdoors, and love hanging out with their adorable pup, Lucy! They both support each other’s active lifestyles. Kristen is Jason’s number one fan at his rugby games and Jason cheers Kristen on at her races and marathons. Their relationship started over a Spitfire’s game and they’ve been sold on each other ever since.

On a side note, Kristen and I went to school together from JK – grade 4. It has been so wonderful to reconnect with my childhood friend, and have the honour of photograph her engagement and wedding photos. At the end of this post, you can see a throw back photo of us together with Kristen’s sister playing in some leaves. How do you like my awesome neon green belt? I was a fashionable one!

Dave & Patricia | St. Jacob's Ontario Maternity

I first met Dave & Patricia back in 2003, while attending school in Brampton, Ontario. They had just started dating then, and man, those two were crazy about each other! I had often thought about them over the years and when I got their email asking to come up their way to do some maternity photos, I was honoured and happy to do it. Although it was a chilly day, my heart was warmed once Josh and I started photographing them. Their affection for each other was still there and it was stronger than ever. They are so cute together, and I could not be happier for them to be welcoming a new family member into their loving home. Congratulations, you two will make outstanding parents!

The Rivests | Amherstburg Family Session

We first met the Rivest family while photographing a wedding last year. We liked them immediately. Joanne is tenderhearted, full of compassion, and is a superhero homeschooling mama. Jeff is a dedicated, hardworking, loving father. The kids, well, they are just awesome. We had so much fun with this family.

This year, Jeff faced some significant health challenges. It was a very scary time for the family. It was while in the hospital that they realized it had been way too long since they had some family photos taken. We are all thanking God that he is doing well now and are so honoured to have captured these moments of them together, all healthy, as one big happy family.

Dani + Jenny | Kitchener & St Jacob's Wedding

Dani & Jenny are a joy to be around. If you have had the pleasure of meeting these two, consider yourself blessed. Dani & Jenny have known each other since they were just kids, and you can tell. They are connected. The way they look at, understand, and enjoy each other makes you feel warm all over. They have a kind of love that has stood the test of time. It’s rare, refreshing and beautiful. You may remember these two from their engagement session (click here). Since that time, we can honestly say we have gained two new friends. These two people have hearts of pure gold. We will always remember how they stood by us in prayer and encouraged us when we lost a dear aunt this year. We hope you will enjoy these photos of their adorable wedding day! Congratulations you two, you deserve every bit of this happiness!

Derik + Alisha | Point Pelee Leamington Engagement

Derik & Alisha have been a couple for eleven blissful years, and are more in love than ever! Together, they own a house, and enjoy renovating it. They have spent countless hours restoring it to reflect their personalities and love for each other. Derik and Alisha are both family oriented people and love to throw parties at their place for all the people they love. They both have an amazing eye for detail and let me tell you, their parties are above and beyond the ordinary!

As we worked on their engagement session concept together, we soon discovered a common theme.  That theme was “Home.” Home is the house in which they live, the place in which they celebrate, and the feeling they have in each others’ arms. We are so honoured to be apart of their love story, and cannot wait to photograph their wedding in October 2013.

Mike + Joanna | Downtown Windsor Engagement

Mike & Joanna’s love has stood the test of time. They are super in love, and have been together for almost six years! On the night of their engagement photos, we had such a great time with them. We watched the sun go down while finishing up their session, and then enjoyed an amazing Italian dinner later that evening. They were so kind to take us out! We enjoyed every bit of the shoot, dinner and conversation.

These two lovebirds got engaged in 2o11, and have been planning their Windsor wedding for March 2013. We are so looking forward to photographing their stylish wedding. Congratulations Mike & Joanna!

    No wading in the fountain!

Seriously, though, very nice shoot. I dig the classy/casual mix. And I can tell you didn’t have too much trouble getting them to kiss in the middle of the road; it kind of looks like they may have forgotten they were there at all. :)ReplyCancel

Ryan + Rebecca | St. Mary's Wedding

You probably remember this adorable couple from their vintage, train themed, engagement session. Well, in case you didn’t get enough cuteness, here are some samples from their rainy-but-oh-so-lovely, flower-filled day. Joshua had the honour of standing in this wedding as best man, and I had the honour of photographing this pure love. Enjoy just a few samples and keep an eye out for the finished product, there are lots more coming! Ryan & Rebecca, thank you so much for being genuine friends and for having us as a part of your wedding day.
