Adam + Allison | Jackson Park | Windsor, Ontario Engagement Photographers

Adam is a carefree and happy guy, and Allison is a charming and witty girl. Together they make one beautiful couple! They like going for bike rides, relaxing at home with some good food and a movie, and of course spending time with their favourite teenager, Jacob.

When choosing a location for their engagement session, Jackson Park was the obvious choice. Not only it is pretty in the spring with all the tulips and blooming trees, it was there that Adam proposed to Allison under the giant willow tree (see photos below).

Adam and Allison, you make such a lovely couple. The way you love and care for each other is obvious and wonderful to see. We think you’re a perfect match! Thank you so much for choosing us to be your engagement and wedding photographers! We have really enjoyed our time with you both.

we find that we are one tree and not two.” – Louis de Bernieres

The Heritage Box by Manifesto Photography

Manifesto Photography Heritage Box

The Heritage Box was designed by Manifesto Photography and is locally handcrafted here in Essex County. It is made from walnut and is skillfully dovetailed. The lid can be laser engraved with your name and wedding date, with the option of your wedding vows or song to be burned on the inside. This specific build was designed around our most popular 12×12 sixty-page wedding album.

The album is housed in a bespoke, linen lined, leather satchel with a natural distressed matte patina that only gets better with age. There are 6 cork stopped glass vials for preserving perfume samples, flowers, sand from your honeymoon, and any many other precious memories. Below the walnut divider, there is a second linen lined leather satchel to hold up to 150 – 4×6 and 5×7 photos taken by your friends and family. There is also additional storage to protect invites, menus, and any other wedding stationery that needs to be preserved. Finally, the USB drives holding your wedding and engagement photos are held secure in their own linen lined compartment.

The Heritage box is designed to encapsulate all your wedding memories and to be handed down as a sensory experience for generations to come. We hope you love it as much as we do! Watch the video here (in HD):

Maykal & Stacy | The Manor by Peter and Pauls | Kleinburg, Ontario Wedding Photographers

You may remember these two beauties from their waterfall engagement session done in Jordan, Ontario. Not only are they ridiculously good looking, but they have hearts of gold. Their love for each other is strong and genuine. A combination like that made it easy to photograph them. We knew their wedding day was going to be a blast (and we were right)!

Their ceremony took place at Saint Padre Pio Roman Catholic Church in Kleinburg, ON. The building was flooded with natural light and love from their friends and family. After the ceremony, we made our way to Kleinburg for some portraits with the wedding party and family. What a quaint and adorable little town! It’s always fun to photograph people in a new location. The reception was held at The Manor by Peter and Pauls. There were so many pretty details in the room. They thought of everything (scroll down to see some detail shots below)! Some of our favourite memories from the night were when Stacy and her dad lit up the dance floor, and when Maykal gave the greatest groom’s speech ever. The night was memorable and full of laughter. Maykal and Stacy are incredibly loved by their friends and family. It was an awesome celebration!

Maykal and Stacy, we are grateful to have met and photographed you. We loved our time together, and will always think fondly of you. We are so happy you both found love in each other. Wishing you all the best!

oh my goodness, these are amazing! i really don’t even know where to begin. my favorite might be the one with clasped hands. oh, i can feel that one. and just everything else – her veil, the golden leaves, the guys’ socks, all the emotion. but also – you and how you photograph all those parts, how it flows together in style and time and the moments you choose to snap that shutter – that’s what really tells the story here. excellent work!ReplyCancel

Perry & Diana | Ambassador Golf Club | Windsor, Ontario Wedding Photographers

You may remember Perry and Diana from their Belle Isle engagement session. They are two of the most thoughtful, kindhearted, and fun-loving people we know. Spending time with them is always good, and their wedding day was no exception!

We started our day off with the morning preparations. Diana looked radiant in her lace dress, and her smile was beaming all morning. Perry and the boys spent their time getting ready goofing off under the watchful eye of a handsome chocolate lab named, Cadbury. The tone of the day definitely started off right!

Once everyone was ready, we made our way to Willistead Manor Park for their first look. Both Diana and Perry were filled with anticipation and excitement. It was emotional and beautiful (scroll down to see their reactions below). Shortly after they had their big reveal, their wedding party joined in on the fun. It was pretty toasty out that day, so we headed over to The City Grill to cool off, grab some apps, and take some more pictures.

Then it was time for the Tea Ceremony! The house was filled with family and friends who were anxiously awaiting the bride and groom. The tea ceremony was bright, colourful, and filled with tradition. Everyone gave their well wishes, and the bride and groom made sure to express their gratitude to all who came.

Their wedding ceremony and reception took place at Ambassador Golf Club. The venue looked gorgeous and the meal was delicious! There were heartfelt speeches shared, games played, and toasts made. Everyone had a great time!

Perry and Diana, thank you again for choosing us to capture all of these happy moments in your lives! Luckily we share an equal love for Anchor Coffee House, and get to run into you often, haha! Looking forward to staying in touch and watching your marriage journey unfold. We are so happy for you both!

Justin + Ann | Windsor, Ontario Engagement Photographers

Justin is a positive and cheerful guy, with a great sense of humour. Ann is a caring and joyful girl, with a big heart and contagious laugh. Together enjoy country music, going for long drives, and being entertained by their character of a dog, Hutch. There are three things that mean the world to them, family, friends, and farming. Their farm was the perfect spot for a romantic, rustic, and, fun-filled engagement session.

Justin and Ann, if your engagement session was any indication of how much fun your wedding will be, we’re in for an awesome day! Thanks for showing us around your gorgeous property and introducing us to some of your family. We could not be happier for you both!

CJ + Natalie | The Saguaro in Palm Springs, California | Destination Engagement Photographers

CJ and Natalie are not only delightfully adorable, they have hearts of gold. The bright and colourful backdrop of the Saguaro was the perfect spot to show off their happy, outgoing, and playful sides. We only had a short time there before we left for Joshua Tree National Park, so this post will be a quick one. We feel so lucky to have been able to photograph them in both Palm Springs and Joshua Tree National Park! This post is part one of two, so keep your eyes out for more details on this fabulous couple, and a bigger, longer blog from the second half of this destination engagement session!

CJ and Natalie, thank you again for bringing us out to Palm Springs and Joshua Tree National Park. Your company was as wonderful as the views. We are blessed to call you not just clients but new friends. Can’t wait to capture all of the wedding day memories too!

Stephen + Stephanie | The Iron Kettle B&B | Windsor, Ontario Engagement Photographers

Stephen & Stephanie are fun, thoughtful, and generous people. They are big movie buffs with a passion for cooking. They enjoy dancing, fine dining, and delicious wine. Some of their favourite time spent together has been supporting a good cause at charity galas.

The Iron Kettle Bed & Breakfast was a perfect backdrop for their engagement session. It gave us the chance to show off the different facets of their relationship. As much as they know how to enjoy a quiet time at home, they love to get dressed up for a night on the town.

Stephen and Stephanie, we had a great time with you! Thank you for picking us to capture these happy moments from your engagement. We can’t wait for your wedding! To the Iron Kettle, thank you for letting us take advantage of your stunning property. Your hospitality is second to none! We are looking forward to seeing you again soon.
