Chris & Nicola | Retro Suites Hotel | Chatham, Ontario Wedding Photographers

Chris is positive, witty, and organized. Nicola is outgoing, cute, and creative. Together they are adventurous, bubbly, and all around colourful people. What they love most in life are friends, family, and their two sweet rescue dogs Dixie and Toby.

Their fabulous wedding day took place at Retro Suites in Chatham, ON. The fun and vibrant hotel totally suited their personal style and theme of the day. The ladies got ready in the Town and Country room, and the guys got ready in the Sail Inn room. We joked with them about how perfectly both rooms just happen to match their colour scheme. The ceremony and reception both were personalized with impressive handmade and thoughtful details. From the bouquets, coat hangers, and centerpieces to the signage and stationary – they took DIY to a whole new level! We think they missed their calling in life to plan and personalize weddings.

Chris & Nicola your smiles and hugs bring so much brilliance into this world. You actually are the people your dogs think you are. You have open hearts and caring spirits. We are so glad to have been able to participate in and capture your engagement and wedding. You both worked so hard on it all, and everything turned out to be spectacular. Well done!

CJ + Natalie | Joshua Tree National Park, California | Destination Engagement Photographers

You may remember  CJ and Natalie from part one of their destination engagement session done in Palm Springs, CA. Well, here is part two!

One of Natalie & CJ’s fondest memories was the night they met. Natalie was, and still is great friends with CJ’s sister, and it was her Halloween themed stag and doe party where they met. They both were dressed up and looking silly, but it was love at first sight for them. They hit it off right away, and spent the evening dancing. Two nights later on Riverside, they met up at a park bench. They ended up talking for 7 hours straight, and everything just ‘felt so right.’ Well, that park bench has since been a very special spot for them, and over the years they have returned there a few times to reminisce about their first date. The day CJ proposed to Natalie they went for a walk and ended up at their special bench. After a few minutes there, CJ got down on one knee and popped the question! It was only then that they realized the inscription on the bench had been changed to “Stand still and consider the wondrous works of God.” This made everything even more special.

We really wanted to bring that inscription to life with their photos, and what place could be more incredible to consider God’s wondrous works than Joshua Tree National Park! The landscape itself is a miracle, and to top it off we were gifted an insane sunset.

CJ and Natalie, may you always stand strongly together and forever enjoy your beautiful life. You both are so special to us, and we could not be happier you fell in love! Can’t wait for the wedding.

Danny & Erica | Windsor, Ontario Engagement Photographers

Danny and Erica are bright, friendly, and fun-loving people. They enjoy going for bike rides, walks, travelling, and spending time with their families. They know each other inside and out and still adore each other with that deep ‘we’ve-been-together-for-a-long-time-and-I’m-still-crazy-about-you’ kind of love. They belong together.

We all agreed that the quiet, romantic setting of Sprucewood Shores Estate Winery would be the ideal spot for their shoot. We shared some laughs as they rode their charming bicycles through the property. As you can see below, Danny had some pretty sweet moves. There was some dancing in the street and a beautiful sunset for our stroll along the beach. Overall, a fantastic evening!

Danny and Erica, time always seems to fly by when we’re together. We have really enjoyed our time with you, and are so happy that you chose us to be your photographers! November will be here before we know it, and we cannot wait to capture all of the memories to come!

Iain & Aman | Sprucewood Shores Estate Winery | Mastronardi Estate Winery | Essex County, Ontario Wedding Photographers

Photographing Iain & Aman’s wedding day was legendary in a twofold way. Two wineries, two exquisite outfits, two ceremonies, two cultures, two families coming together, two people in love. From start to finish, the day was saturated with traditions, unity, and respect.

Our day with Iain and Aman started at Sprucewood Estate Winery. Iain proudly wore his grandfather’s Sporran which has been in their family since WWII. He was looking mighty dapper in his Scottish kilt and Cameron of Erracht Tartan. Aman wore a traditional Indian Lengha that weighed nearly 30 lbs, and was fully embroidered with hand stitched crystals of rust gold and red. She looked insanely gorgeous!

As mentioned above, there were two ceremonies that day. One was a traditional Sikh ceremony, the other a civil Canadian ceremony. Both were unique and lovely in their own ways. Soon after, we did some photos of the wedding party on the charming grounds of Sprucewood.

The couple decided to do their reception at Mastronardi Estate Winery, so we thought it fitting to continue on with our photos of the wedding party there (after they changed into their second outfits). This time around, Iain changed into a snazzy black Hugo Boss suit with a champagne vest and tie. Aman swapped out her Lengha for a fitted lace gown from It’s Your Day Bridal. The bridesmaids also changed into Saris. Both of their beautiful outfits came straight from India.

Their reception was speckled with red and gold. They adorned the tables with Moroccan lanterns and brightly coloured flowers. The Mastronardi team did a fantastic job working with the Scottish-Sikh fusion feel of the day. The music selection was on point, and everyone partied!

Iain & Aman, thank you for trusting us to document and participate in such an immensely special day! Your wedding was one of the most spectacular we’ve ever been a part of. Congratulations on the lifetime of happiness ahead!

Brian & Katie | Mastronardi Estate Winery | Kingsville, Ontario Wedding Photographers

Brian and Katie care greatly about their family, friends, and making this world a better place. Just a few of the reasons we think they are genuinely exceptional people. You may remember them from their engagement session at the LaSalle Strawberry Festival or the recent video we posted of their Heritage Box and wedding album.

We started our day together with candid photographs while the couple got ready for their big day and then headed over to St. Anne’s Catholic Church for a heartwarming ceremony. After the ceremony and family portraits, we made our way to Thiessen’s Apple Orchard and Flower Shop for some wedding party photos. If you haven’t been to this place yet, you have got to go! Not only are the apples delicious, and picking them fun, the flower shop is out of this world!

Soon we were on our way to the reception at Mastronardi Estate Winery‘s Vino Vista. We were welcomed into the room with the phenomenal singing of Michael Vanhevel. He was incredible! As to be expected with any Mastronardi event the decor, food, and party was spectacular (scroll down to see some of the awesome details).

Brian and Katie, don’t ever lose the playful and lighthearted sides to yourselves. It will keep you young and laughing throughout the years. Your relationship brings such joy to the people around you. We are so grateful to have been a part of this season of your lives and hope to celebrate many more milestones together in the future! And since any night of antipasto and wine counts as a milestone, let’s celebrate one soon.

Benjamin + Diana | Windsor, Ontario Engagement Photographers

Benjamin is a witty, down to earth, outgoing guy with a positive outlook on life. Diana is intelligent, dynamic, and thoughtful girl with an excellent eye for style. As a couple, they are charming, adventurous, and such warm people. They’re best friends and enjoy taking on life’s experiences together.

They really wanted to do something different for their engagement pictures, and we were all for it! They loved the idea of being on a rooftop overlooking the skyline. Naturally downtown Windsor was the ideal spot!

Ben and Diana, thank you so much for making the drive to Windsor from Kitchener! We know how much you love photographs and have a great eye for details. We feel so lucky to have been selected to be your photographers! We hope you love your photos, and we cannot wait to photograph your big day in just a few short days.
