Ana & Fllad | Amherstburg, Ontario | Engagement Photographers

Ana and Fllad are cute, witty, and thoughtful people. They enjoy being outdoors, going for long drives, and trying new and interesting foods. They are the kind of couple that legitimately have picnics together, and are still romantic after years of being together. They are so sweet to each other.

When they used to live in Windsor, they loved going to Amherstburg for ice cream and strolls along the waterfront. We couldn’t think of a better spot for their engagement session. Not many places can beat its unique textured brick walls, charming storefronts, gorgeous gardens, calming river waves, and incredible sunsets… all within a 5 minute walk! Add an adorable couple to the mix that are still as crazy about each other as day they met, and it’s hard to take a bad photo.

Ana and Fllad, you are already such genuine and positive people on your own, but together you create a contagious joy that’s so fun to be around! We are so grateful that we met you both years back at Blerina & Endrit’s wedding, and can’t wait for your wedding day! The best is yet to come.

“It’s amazing how one day someone walks into your life and you can’t remember how you ever lived without them.”

JP & Sandra | Detroit Engagement Session | Windsor, Ontario Photographers, Manifesto Photography

JP and Sandra are adorably in love. Their genuine smiles, flirtatious touches, and looks of admiration throughout the engagement session made photographing them so easy!

Although JP and Sandra call Windsor home, we thought the streets of Detroit would make the perfect backdrop for their session. They both have a sense of adventure, and wanted somewhere colourful and fun to show off their love of summer nights.

JP and Sandra, working with you is like hanging out with old friends. People like you are the reason we love being photographers. We couldn’t be happier with how the images turned out, and we hope you love them too! Dinner at Punch Bowl Social after was awesome, and we hope to hang out with you guys again soon!

Steve & Meaghan | Fogolar Furlan | Windsor, Ontario Wedding Photographers

You may recognize Steve and Meaghan from their fall engagement session last November. They are one of the sweetest couples we have photographed. We can say without a doubt, they belong together. They both love globe-trotting, and have hearts that beat for adventure. Together, they’ve also already raised the most adorable (fur) child, Rolland. Marriage was an obvious choice for these two.

Father Roach kicked off their wedding ceremony with a heartfelt message and some laughs at Corpus Christi Parish. After the main event of the day, we headed over to one of Windsors historical treasures, The Low-Martin House. What a gorgeous home! If you don’t know the history of this place, definitely check out their facebook page or one of the tours they do from time to time.

Their reception took place at Fogolar Furlan in the Windsor Hall. Meaghan thought up and created so many charming details! From the massive dessert table made out of reclaimed wood and wine barrels to the hand drawn seating chart done on vintage windows. It was beautiful! The speeches were touching, the kissing game hilarious, and the surprise parent dance tear jerking! Overall the night was fantastic.

Steve and Meaghan, thank you again for choosing us as your wedding photographers! You have been a dream client to work with, and we hope that the photos are everything you hoped for and more.

To everyone that had a part in that day – Martina & Mandy made the girls look beautiful. Cori J Vanderbeek Heer, you are a true floral artisan. Chris + Melanie | Leamington, Ontario Engagement Photographers

Chris and Melanie are happy, friendly, and all-around wonderful people. They enjoy paddle boarding, taking long drives around the backroads in Chris’s truck, and spending time around the family farm with their favourite kid, Conner.

We all agreed that doing a few locations was a must for this session! We started out at Chris’s house with some quiet moments around the property, and then took a short drive to the family’s farm where they both have spent countless hours together. What a spotless place! The gleaming floors and bright green plants made a unique and fresh backdrop for the shoot. After a little tour, we took off to the beach – paddle boards in tow – and snapped a few more photos while the sun set.

Chris and Melanie, we really enjoyed our time with you both. Thank you for letting us into your adorable life, introducing us to your family, and sharing your love story with us. We hope you love your engagement photos! We’re so looking forward to the wedding next year.

Kristen & Jay | St. Clair College Centre for the Arts | Windsor, Ontario Wedding Photographers

You might remember Jay and Kristen from their wave crashing engagement session last year. You may also recognize some familiar faces in this wedding party! We first met Jay and Kristen at Jay’s sister Janine’s wedding back in 2011. Since then, we’ve reunited again and again as we had opportunities to photograph many of their friends’ weddings too. It was so natural to photograph them on their wedding day, we felt right at home amongst our little Manifesto family.

Their heartwarming ceremony took place on Jay’s parents’ property. It was beautiful, intimate, and meaningful. Afterwards we headed over to Coventry Gardens for a few group photos, and then to Mackenzie Hall for some private moments with just the bride and groom. The reception took place at St. Clair College Centre for the Arts. Designs by Diane did a great job as usual with the decor, and Maple City Bakery filled everyone’s bellies with delicious treats for dessert. Of course, we cannot forget to mention the phenomenal band that kept the party going late into the night, Fifty Amp Fuse. They are so good! We finished off our time together with the couple by taking a few sunset photos at Dieppe Gardens on Windsor’s waterfront.

Jay and Kristen, we are so incredibly grateful that we have gotten to know you and all your wonderful crew that we now consider friends! You really are so blessed to have such incredible longstanding friendships in your life, not mention fabulous families. You are loved. We wish you both the best in your married life!

Chris & Mallory | St. Clair College Centre for the Arts | Windsor, Ontario Wedding Photographers

Mallory is extremely loveable. She is laid back, kind, and genuine. The morning preparations for her wedding day reflected her easy-going personality. There was no hustle and bustle, just friends and family living in the moment and taking in the happenings of the day. Towns Estates B&B put on a lovely spread for breakfast and assisted the girls with anything they needed. Once everyone was dressed and looking fabulous and we headed to John R Park Homestead for a few pictures before the ceremony.

Chris and his boys got ready for the day at his parents’ house. Their suits from 67 Richmond looked amazing on all the guys! One of the highlights of the morning was the gift opening. Mallory and Chris decided to exchange gifts, and as you can see below, Chris was blown away by Mallory’s thoughtfulness. We just love how they love each other!

The couple’s ceremony took place at Full Gospel Tabernacle in Leamington followed by wedding party photos at Willistead Park and a stunning reception at St. Clair Centre for the Arts. Their family-focused day was filled with heirlooms, Macedonian traditions, thoughtful details, and some of the best speeches we’ve ever heard.

Chris and Mallory, we are grateful not only to have shared your wedding day but to have gained two new friends in you both! You are clearly made for each other, and we are so happy that God has brought you together. We’re still waiting for a puppy playdate (*cough* Mallory, let Chris get a dog *cough*).

JORDAN + LAURA | MANHATTAN BEACH, CALIFORNIA | DESTINATION ENGAGEMENT PHOTOGRAPHERS

I’ll be honest, I’ve been putting off blogging these photos for a while now. I don’t know why it’s been so hard for me to let these go out into the world, but I think it’s because I love them so much! These gorgeous images were created back in November of 2014 when Laura & Jordan brought us to Los Angeles, California for their destination engagement session. It was such a great trip and adventure! We made new friends, saw stunning landscapes, attended a hockey game for Jordan’s team, the LA Kings, and best of all we were commissioned by two extraordinary people to do what we love, take their pictures!

Here it is, part III of Laura & Jordan’s destination engagement session! This series of images were done in Manhattan Beach, California under and around the famous pier. Check out Part I  (done on Palos Verdes Cliffs) and Part II (done in Venice Beach) by clicking on the highlighted text.

Jordan & Laura, thank you a million times for bringing us into your lives, and allowing us to capture and share these intimate moments from your engagement. Your love and respect for each other is admirable, and we cannot wait to work together again at your upcoming wedding! See you real soon.
