I’m not sure there’s a more ideal way to meet someone than through mutual friends, and that’s exactly how it went down for Lisa and Patrick. Lisa is bright and has a big heart. Patrick is easy-going, generous and charming. Together, they balance, compliment and bring out the very best in one another.

They’re self-proclaimed homebodies and spend many evenings at home cooking together, playing board games, and watching movies. If they’re not at home, they’re out rollerblading, an activity Patrick decided to do the day he proposed to Lisa. Rightfully so, as Patrick dug deep into their relationship and recreated many of their memories together. He started the day at their favourite breakfast restaurant, the Sandwich Nook, followed by rollerblading on the Ganatchio Trail. As they took a break to tie their rollerblades, Patrick got down on one knee, told Lisa how much he loved her and asked her to be his wife. It was, of course, an immediate ‘YES’ from Lisa, followed by a couple’s massage. And then finally a dinner at The Keg with a reserved table that they had their 1^st date at, 5 years ago when he asked her to be his girlfriend. Guys, take note, this is how it’s done. ;)
