It’s incredible how a chance encounter with someone can alter the very course of your life. Neither Jayde or Rob planned to meet the one they would marry when they signed up for a gym membership, but when Rob spotted Jayde across a crowded gym, he knew the game had changed.

Well… things definitely “worked out” (see what I did there?). Years later, Jayde and Rob co-own a successful salon, Nine Zero Five, and have welcomed their beautiful son, Roman, into their family. This coming weekend, they’re celebrating their love, family, and commitment by getting married in the presence of their closest friends and family.

For their engagement session, we traveled up to Toronto to photograph them in one of their favourite spots, the Yorkdale Shopping District. As a family, they stepped out onto the streets looking cooler than I could ever hope to be and somehow made it look effortless. Their son Roman was all smiles and clearly has a better fashion sense than all of us combined.
