Stephanie & Dan | Ciociaro Club | Windsor, Ontario Wedding Photographers

Lighthearted. Personal. Genuine. If there was ever a client that fit Manifesto Photography’s guiding words, it would be Stephanie and Dan. They are one of the most fun-loving couples we know and they are equally as kind and genuine. Stephanie is a talented graphic designer with a great eye for detail. When she chose us to capture her and Dan’s engagement session and long-awaited wedding day it was a complete honour. The couple has been together since high school, and their wedding was filled to the brim with thoughtful and personal touches that reflected their personalities, relationship, and honoured their families.

Stephanie started the day at her and Dan’s home. I’ve long respected her organization and calm demeanour in our day to day interactions and she was no different on her wedding day. She stepped into her Moonlight Couture dress, which made her look like a princess with the glass beaded top and drop shoulder sleeves. Her long brown hair was half pinned up, with the remainder of it falling down her back, and a heart shaped keychain necklace hung from her neck. She took a minute to herself to finish up some final touches before stepping into the living room where her family and bridesmaids waited for her big reveal.

Dan stood in the shade of a tree in his parents backyard. He had spent the morning getting ready with his groomsmen, but was now waiting patiently to see Stephanie for the first time. We love First Looks! They really give couples a chance to soak in the reality of the day before they commit themselves to each other with vows. Stephanie & Dan’s first look was no disappointment – there were tears as they spent a few quiet moments together before coming husband and wife, Stephanie presented her husband to be with a pin with images of their grandparents, and Dan admired his soon-to-be wife.

Their portraits were equally as personal. They visited the same location for portraits as Dan’s parents had many years ago on their wedding day, the Sun Parlour Home‘s backyard, which was full of greenery and majestic willow trees. Between Stephanie’s princess dress, the dreamy location, and Dan’s absolute admiration of his bride, it was like walking through a living fairytale.

Stephanie & Dan’s ceremony took place at the Ciociaro Club, where Stephanie’s dad stood outside with her as she peaked inside waiting for the ceremony to start. He walked her halfway down the aisle, where she was met by her step-dad, who walked her the remainder of the way. The room was filled to the brim with people who had come to support and celebrate Stephanie and Dan’s commitment. Their bridal party stood on either side of them on the stairs that framed the ceremony space, and Stephanie & Dan took their turns reading their vows to one another before signing the papers and becoming husband and wife.

The reception hall was decorated in gold linens and tall vases with greenery cascading down and a monogram that Stephanie designed reflected on the walls. Their gorgeous cake was made by Dan’s cousin at Piroli Pastries and candles flickered on the tables as they made their entrance into the hall to thunderous applause – what a moment! They went straight to the dance floor as fog filled the room, creating a dramatic scene for their first dance as husband and wife. Dan danced with his mom and Stephanie danced with her dad and stepdad, both proud as they could be, shown as they twirled their little girl.

The Heritage Box

Stephanie & Dan chose our locally made Heritage Box with a 12×12 album and leather satchel, glass vials for wedding day keepsakes, their USB with digital images, leather satchel for prints, and section for additional momentos. They engraved the box’s lid with their wedding monogram, designed by the bride, and included their handwritten vows on the inside of the lid.
