Our photography approach is simple.

We want to get to know you, so that we can bring your heart, beliefs, and aspirations into each photo that we take.

We don't just want to take great photos, we want to tell a story. Your story!

Ryan + Tara | Sprucewood Shores Estate Winery, Harrow Wedding

Ryan and Tara are happy people. He’s a baseball/sports fanatic, and she’s a fan of literature and music. Together they adopted a beautiful little pup named Zola (who stole the show at the wedding with her pink pearl necklace).

Their wedding day took place at Sprucewood Shores Estate Winery, a gorgeous vineyard situated on Lake Erie. The day went absolutely perfectly despite the on again, off again rain. It made for a stunning rainbow, and awe-inspiring clouds and waves (see the end of this post). As photographers, we could not have been happier with what we had to work with!

Ryan and Tara, your wedding day such a great reflection of who you are as individuals and as a couple. It was colourful, sparkly, fun, and welcoming. You both have hearts of gold, and I just know you’re going to live happily ever after. God bless you both on your  journey forward as husband and wife. Whenever you’re in Windsor, we’d love to see you, and Zola! xo

Words from Tara & Ryan:

“Our main fear about wedding photography was that the pictures wouldn’t capture us as our genuine selves. We were really looking to have photos that were honest and also a lot of fun. We were much less worried about this after our Skype date with you guys and just hearing your ideas and your approach to photography. I also think that the little questionnaire you had us do made us really feel like you wanted to get to know us personally.

A moment that I really appreciated was after you and Josh had said goodbye to us. I realized that we hadn’t taken a picture of just my cousin and I. This was a photo that was really important to me. I found you inside of Sprucewood, all packed up and asked if you would mind taking one last photo. Without hesitation you brought out your camera and we took the picture. It is one of my most treasured pictures from the day and it meant a lot that you were willing to unpack your camera when you were probably so tired and happy to be heading home.

Bit of advice for soon to be Brides: as you think of pictures you would like taken, write them down and let your photographer know what they are. Otherwise you will definitely forget with all the planning leading up to your wedding and not to mention the actual day is a whirlwind!

Ryan and I enjoyed working with you two very much. We appreciated your creativity and willingness to try something silly. The photos we love, we LOVE! You have photographed for us a collection of images that captured the day, it’s mood and energy and emotion, so well. When we look through them we get to relive our wedding day all over again. That is something we never expected to get out of our wedding photos.  What a beautiful keepsake!”
