Michelle & Paul | Brunet Park | Windsor, Ontario Engagement Photographers

Michelle’s parents were visiting her in Toronto when she was invited out by friends; she was reluctant to go at first but through her parents’ persuasion, she decided to say yes. That evening, she was introduced to a guy named Paul. As the group of them hung out at Local, a bar in Toronto, watching football and having a good time, Paul and Michelle spent most of their time talking to each other. Maybe it was the way Paul’s eyes always found Michelle’s or the way they just seemed to click, but once Paul dropped Michelle at home she messaged her mom right away and said I think I just met the man I am going to marry tonight! A few days later Paul and Michelle went out on an official first date, and the rest is history!

For Michelle and Paul’s engagement session, we decided to embrace the wonderful colours of fall and shot their warm, romantic engagement session both indoors and out. We started off at Paul’s parents’ home, the living room decorated from top to bottom in beautiful Christmas decor. Michelle and Paul cozied up together over a glass of Veuve Clicquot by the fireplace and had Harvey their handsome cairn terrier join in on the fun.

From there we headed to Brunet Park and took advantage of the best autumn light. The trees were a rich, golden yellow, and leaves scattered around Michelle and Paul’s feet as they walked through the park hand in hand enjoying the evening.

Michelle and Paul, we had a great time getting to know you both (and Harvey!) during your engagement session and can’t wait to see you again on your wedding day!
