Jackson’s In-Home Newborn Session | Windsor, Ontario Newborn Photographer

Writing about this newborn session does a number on my heart for so many reasons. It feels like two seconds ago I was meeting up with CJH Florals to pick up a bouquet of epic proportion for April & Stephane’s engagement session. And now here we are, a wedding, maternity, newborn, and a second newborn session later! I almost feel like I’m dreaming as I go back over their sessions. How did this happen?!

Aside from the fact that this all seems to have unfolded in no time at all, I just genuinely care about these people. Fun story, (and let me preface this with “this never happens,” because this is a first in 12 years of taking photos)… I actually showed up to Stephane & April’s house on the wrong day for their newborn shoot. I was slightly mortified, standing at their front door, Starbuck drinks and butter tarts in hand, but they didn’t even make me feel bad and actually invited me in! I felt totally comfortable catching up over our coffees while they sat in their PJs. They’re that nice!

April & Stephane have been best friends since grade 9. They’ve built such a solid foundation and have weathered the storms of life together long before their two adorable blonde-haired babies entered the picture. They’re an excellent team, and we truly believe that Harper & Jackson are so lucky to live life alongside them.
